Travelling is a hobby, passion and even LIFE for some of us. Traveling around the world and knowing about the rich heritage and traditions makes us feel unique. ON THIS BLOG WE WILL DISCUSS ABOUT MANY PLACE ONE SHOULD TRAVEL to realize the culture and life of INDIA. We will go over some fantastic places, tourist favorites around the world. We will start from Northern India and then go over such amazing places that you've got to visit because you cant afford to miss it.
NORTHERN INDIA- India is such a wonderful place to visit if you're excited about culture. India has its own unique rich cultural heritage which attracts us closer and closer. Besides from poverty in India, there are thousands of sightseeing locations which are famous for it own specialty. Starting from Northern part of India is its immense, colossal HIMALAYAN mountains.
Tourists from around the world visit India just to take a peace look at this mountains. Looking at these mountains creates an energetic feeling in your body which doesn't stop until you climb them. HIMALAYAN mountains, of course are the tallest in the world and this make the curiosity even higher to take a look at them.
Moving ahead, India consists of its mysterious HIDDEN VALLEYS OF LADAKH. This is an outstanding trek and an ideal introduction to the visually stunning and culturally rich region of Ladakh, high in the Indian Himalayas. If you're to visit India don't forget to see the magical beauty of Northern India. There is no way to diversify the life of the people in the village is India. We will now explore some of the most famous forts and palaces built by "MAHARAJAS" (Kings) of northern India. Most antiquated forts and palaces are located in the walled city of JAISALMER, JODHPUR AND JAIPUR.
JAISALMER FORT - Fort of Jaisalmer is one of the largest forts you will find on this planet. This fort was built in 1156 A.D by the rajput ruler Rao Jaisal. This fort thus was name after his name. This fort is located in the most tempting area of Thar Desert in Rajasthan. At evening this fort is decorated as a bride. Ancient people of India often referred that once king who used to live in this fort was attacked by a Mughal Ruler. Luckily, the king escaped to survive this attack because this was the fort which had its unique underground escape route.
AMER FORT- This fort got its name "Amer" because it was located in the city of Jaipur which was earlier know as Amer.
The Fort Of Amer was built by King Man Singh. The aesthetic ambiance of this formidable fort is seen in its walls. The most famous reasons this fort is known for is its interior design.
This lavish, royal and elegant look of this fort serves as its beauty. This section of this fort was built by skilled, handcraft workers in India.

India's mystical beauty also comes from its rich city of DARJEELING. Darjeeling is located in Western part of India in West Bengal. Darjeeling is also a very-famous tourist place. Guess what? If you go to Darjeeling, I guarantee you will not miss its crisp, energetic and enthusiastic cup of tea in the midst morning between green mountains. Yes! you heard it right! Darjeeling is famous of its tea. Most of the people living in western part of India drink the tea specially imported from Darjeeling. Also, if you visit Darjeeling don't forget to sit in Darjeeling's toy train and visit the foggy city on hilltops. From here several thousand workers pluck those fresh tea leaves and process them in to this delicious tea which somewhat looks like this. This cup of tea everyone wants!!

Looking at this mouthwatering cup of tea, you have to visit India to taste it. Its not only good in its taste but is also nutritious.
Moving on from Darjeeling, another tourist location that is famous is on the Eastern side of India in the state of GUJARAT.
GUJARAT- Gujarat is a state in India which is located on the Easternmost side of India. Gujarat is famous for its ancient sightseeing locations. In Gujarat, there is an antiquated place called LOTHAL. Lothal is know to be one of the most prominent cities in India because it dates us back to the Indus-Valley civilization. From Lothal archaeologists came to know about the grid -system used by the people of Indus-Valley civilization. Lothal is also famous for its GREAT BATH. Here is a picture for a better understanding.

This were the series of bathrooms used by the people of Indus-Valley civilization. This monument is also famous for it drainage systems dating back in time. Trust me this people who built this talking thousands of years ago were just brilliant!!
Ahead in India is the most famous monument which reserves its place in the Seven Wonders Of The World presenting the most beautiful - TAJ MAHAL.
TAJ MAHAL - Taj Mahal is located in Agra and was built by the Mughal ruler Shah-Jahan for her beloved wife Mumtaj. Taj Mahal gets its name from Mumtaj. Taj Mahal is the most visited monument in India. Taj Mahal is know to be made from "Sangmarmar" marble. It is also know that the workers who built Taj Mahal were highly skilled and were professional handy-craft workers. People often say that the workers after finishing the Taj Mahal went to Shah Jahan who brutally cut the fingers of the workers so that they could never make such a wonder again in their life. Taj Mahal is located on the bank of sacred river Yamuna. Here is the picture of Taj-Mahal which gives you an idea on how rich and royal it looks.

MUMBAI- Mumbai is known as the city that never sleeps. Mumbai is the capital city of the state of Maharashtra. It is also know as th emost populated-city in India and the forth most populated city on the planet. Despite of its immense population there are wonders to see in this city. Mumbai derives its name from the Hindu goddess Mumbadevi. Mumbai located in western India served as a center of Buddhism because of its world famous Kanheri Caves. People of Mumbai celebrate a festival called Ganesh-Chaturthi. This festival symbolizes the birthday of Lord Ganesha according to Hindu calendar. Mumbai is also the Financial and Commercial capital of India. India served as a very precious colony to Britishers for almost 300 years. Britishers during this rule developed the railroads in India which now account to have the largest number of employees in the whole world. They also built the GATEWAY OF INDIA to welcome their British officers from Great Britain. Gateway of India is also one of the most visited place in India. On the other side of this gateway is the Arabian Sea which used to be the pathway of British official approaching India. Mumbai is also famous for its skyline. It is said that Mumbai has one of the most beautiful skyline throughout India. There are great attraction in Mumbai to visit. Here's the big list:-

KERALA- Kerala is located in the Southern corner in India. The most amusing thing about Kerala are its Houseboats. Yes you heard it right houseboats!! If you go to Kerala, don't forget to get a ride in one of those gorgeous houseboats. Kerala also has a literacy rate of 98% which means out of 100 people 98 of them are well educated!! Kerala was also once ruled by one of the most feared ruler Tipu Sultan. He made a fort in Kerala known as the Palakkad Fort. The thing that stands this fort out from the other forts is that this fort has waterways in it. Here's a picture take a look at it.

This fort is said to be existed from very ancient times but many believe that this fort was constructed recently. This fort gets its name from "Palakkad Achhan" who was a tributary of Zamorin. The tourists who visit Kerala often stay in houseboats which are not very expensive to rent. These houseboats are just a charm. It relaxes you and gives you a pleasure feeling of the rich cultural heritage of Kerala. Backwaters of Kerala are also famous as tourist places.
